The front office staff is very helpful and courteous. Stefanie is so knowledgeable and professional, chairside, that a generally unpleasant procedure was almost enjoyable. Dr Zhu is performing miracles on my mouth.

Northwest Periodontist is an excellent dental office with one of the best care teams I have ever experienced. I have been going to Dr. Akimoto for 12 years now and I have had 6 major dental procedures and have never experienced any terrible pain and the work they do has always held up well. I have also been treated by Dr. Lucia Safioti who is excellent as well. I had some terrible experiences at other dentists before finding Dr. Akimoto and Safioti, but they both are caring and thorough to make sure that their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. With my prior painful experience at the hands of other dentists I am always a bit tepid and frankly fearful every time I need an extraction or other type of oral surgery, but Dr. Akimoto and Safioti always get me in quick when I have an issue and put me at ease. I highly recommend Northwest Periodontists and Implants I think they are the best of the best.

I was referred to Dr Akimoto for a gum graph. I believed it was not healing right and went back to have it examined and Dr Akimoto dismissed my concerns. I have lost partial feeling due to a nerve being injured and still have chronic pain in the roof of my mouth. He said he could look at it for a $250 charge. His final words was that it looks fine after I sent I picture of the area that had the graph. He defended his work and was not willing to give me answers. The staff was great, but I would never recommend Dr Akimoto to anyone.

I just had a dental implant done here, and I had a wonderful experience. The doctor was extremely professional, skilled, and gentle, and the procedure was virtually painless. Most importantly, all of the nurses were warm, friendly, and caring. Iβm very happy with my experience and would highly recommend this office!

Quite satisfied with overall treatment. Efficient office. Easy to work with staff. Dr. Zhu did a decent job surgically correcting the issue I had. There were some post-surgery issurs which he resolved expeditiously. I hope these issues donβt recur.

Six months ago, I accidentally cracked a tooth, and my primary dentist had to extract it. Three months ago, I visited Dr. David Zhuβs office after hearing about the excellent implant experience my wife had with him. During the consultation, Dr. Zhu discovered that the tooth next to the missing one had a fractured root and also needed to be removed. I was concerned about having to wait another three months before getting a second implant. After carefully evaluating the condition of my jawbone, Dr. Zhu explained that he could extract the damaged tooth and place two implants during the same procedure. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, which gave me confidence to move forward with the plan. Dr. Zhu is highly professional and skilled. The surgery went smoothly and was successful. At my follow-up appointment today, he confirmed that the implants have healed well and that I am ready for the crowns. It has been a truly positive experience. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Zhuβs expertise and would highly recommend him to anyone considering dental implants.
